Ongie has a very short fuse and launches into orbit rather easily. He even throws an occasional club! Two minutes later he is "sorry" and turns into a lamb (until next time..) The rest of the bunch put up with Ongie's temper and "love him" any way. Ongie is pretty good at a 9 to 11 handicap. He usually plays partners with Flooger.

Flooger is probably best described as the "Charlie Brown" of the group. To Flooger, discovery of anything new is amazing! Flooger is the guy who misses the critical putt and always gets a bad bounce with his ball. Flooger is at best, a 21 - 24 handicap.

Eddie is a New Yorker and doesn't take crap from anyone. He runs the betting with an iron fist. His caustic tongue can get him in trouble and usually does. At a 15 - 18 handicap, Eddie's not the best golfer around, but he is the smartest gambler. He usually finds a way to win the money.

Hoss is clearly the best golfer in the group. He finds himself in the role of "straight man" to everyone else's shenanigans. Hoss is a stickler for the rules. No one ever questions a "Hoss Ruling". He is a 4 to 5 handicapper who always hits the ball straight!
